Hello I'm Sue Orgar and I own Furdresser dog grooming in Overton.
I achieved my City & Guilds level 2 and 3 at an approved dog grooming salon and training centre in Medstead, where I also gained extensive experience grooming both pedigree and mixed breed dogs. I decided then to follow my heart and set up my own grooming salon at my home in Overton where I now groom dogs from around the area including Kingsclere and Whitchurch.
Dog Groomer Salon
The salon is fully fitted with the latest professional equipment so you can be sure that your beloved pet is safe and secure. Your dog's comfort and well-being is paramount so I don't use cabin dryers and, as I only have one dog in at a time, holding cages aren't necessary. Your dog will receive my one to one attention at all times.
Duration of Groom
A full groom usually takes around 2 hours, coats that require hand stripping usually take a little longer but I have a secure garden where your pooch can have a little comfort break or answer that call of nature if it comes! All the shampoos, conditioners and de-tangling sprays I use on your pets coat are premium quality products, because they're worth it!
Puppy Grooms
Ideally puppies should be introduced to the groomers at around 12 weeks or once they have had all of their vaccinations. It's best to acclimatise them gently so the first visit would normally be just a bath with puppy shampoo and a face, feet, nail and bottom trim, followed by lots of praise and cuddles! Nervous puppies or first time doggies are more than welcome to visit the salon and me for a look around and to get used to the smells and noises before they come in for some pampering.
